717.619. Surgical tables; castors. CURTIS, C. C. April 30, 1952, No. 10907/52. Classes 52(1) and 52(3) Legs 22 are pivoted to the mid-section 14 of a surgical table which can be folded for storage with the head and foot sections 15, 13 swung downwardly into substantially parallel relationship to the legs when the hinged spreader 45, 46 has been upwardly collapsed and the lower ends of the legs swung together. Castors 25 are mounted on horizontal pivots and controlled by links 59 to maintain the pintle axes substantially vertical throughout the folding movement of the legs. The head and foot sections are adjustably supported by struts 30 engaging rack teeth 35 on the legs.
