Abstract

895,544. Bracket tables. HOLZMANN, F. Sept. 22, 1960 [Oct. 12, 1959], No. 32526/60. Classes 52(3) and 52(5) A fold-down bracket table-top 9 has a rear flange 10 pivoted to the cross-bar 12 of a rectangular frame 1 supported in vertical position by feet 3 pivoted about horizontal axes 4 to the lower part of the frame 1. Struts 5 are pivoted at 6 to the feet and engage the frame 1 at 7 when the table is erected; when the feet are to be folded up, the struts are swung down on to the feet. The table top is supported when in use by arms 15 pivoted about vertical axes 16 so that they can be swung against bar 12 when the table is to be folded. Struts 13 pivoted to the top 9 engage arms 15 to hold the top horizontal but, to provide an inclined top, struts 13 are pivoted to lie against the top which then rests directly on the ends of arms 15. The lower end of the frame 1 has castors 8 and the top 9 may be provided with a drawer.
