Class 83 (3) A machine tool for shaping turbine blades and other work comprises a pivoted worksupporting frame, a cam mounted on the frame, a follower roller engageable by the cam, a support for the roller including a slide movable transversely of the pivoted axis of the frame, stop means limiting the movement of the slide, and fluid pressure operated means for moving the slide away. from the stop means. The machine is identical with those described in Specifications 712,904. and 712,969. in which the work W together with a cam 81 is supported in a frame 40 mounted to pivot about a horizontal axis and move along the axis; the slide 87 carrying the follower roller 86 is provided with a screw 90 which co-operates with a fixed abutment 92 to determine the lower position of the slide.and therefore, of the frame and so set the work in correct relation to the tool.
