Abstract

712,739. Floor and ceiling shuttering. RUTARD, S. LECLERC-. Dec. 24, 1952 [Jan. 17, 1952], No. 32770/52. Class 20 (2) Floors and ceilings under construction, e.g. cast in concrete,. are supported on a device comprising a central stem 1, 7 and radial arms, each composed of a horizontal extensible arm 19 and a strut 22. The stem part 7 carries collars 17, 24 into holes in which the ends of arms 19, 22 respectively are hooked. The stem part 7 is telscopically slidable in the part 1 by means of a rack 10 and gear wheel 5 and is he:d in position by a pin 9 adapted to be inserted in an opposed pair of series of holes 8, To allow this pin to be withdrawn when it is subject to the weight of the floor, arranged between the pin and the top of the tube 1 are pivoted jaws 12 adapted to be knocked away. The extensible arm 19 comprises an outer slidable T-section iron 27, Fig. 6, which slides between two ang'e irons 25, 26 forming the inner part of the arm. The iron 27 is formed with a wall re-engaging part 30 and is locked in position by a shackle 31 and a wedge 33.
