716,152. Scaffolding. SCAFFOLDING (GREAT BRITAIN, Ltd., and ELLIOTT, N. B. April 13, 1953 [May 28, 1952], No. 13548/52. Class 20 (2) A scaffold for supporting a platform adjacent a wall consists of a triangular frame comprising a putlog 10 having a tongue 13 for engagement between the courses of a brick wall, and members 11, 12 pivoted thereto and detachably linked together by a pin 20, the member 11 being slidably mounted in a sleeve 224 of a triangular supporting strut 21, -and ,.having :a plurality :of holes 26 selectively engageable by a pin 25 passing through the sleeve 24 to provide alternative heights for the support. A vertical sleeve 15 on the putlog 10 is adapted to receive an upright scaffolding member which is clamped therein by a screw 17.
