Abstract

1,104,544. Scaffolding. LONDON & MIDLAND STEEL SCAFFOLDING CO. Ltd. 11, March, 1965 [6, April, 1964], No. 14016/64. Heading E1S. A scaffold frame comprising two uprights 12, connected by a cross member 27 is supported on spigots and sockets on a horizontal tube 10 engaging a wall 15 at one end and having a vertical sleeve 16 at the other end, adjustable on a prop 17. The adjustment comprises a pin 24 selectively engaged with one of a row of holes 21 in the prop 17 and one of a row of holes 22 having smaller spacing, in the sleeve 16. A set screw 25 in the sleeve 16 takes up play.
