Class 20 (4) A corner unit for a prefabricated building structure of the kind in which the external walls are constituted by cladding sheets of metal, asbestos, or other material, provided along one face with inwardly directed channels for hooking into position on horizontal channel section bars secured to a skeleton framework of the structure, not shown, comprises an inner panel 5 bent along a centre line 6 to form two parts at right angles to each other and an outer panel 8, made of flexible material and bent to conform to the shape of the panel 5, the two plates 5, 8, and preferably also an intermediate distance piece 10, being connected together by rivets 9. The margins 8a of the plates 8, folded inwards, are spring urged against the inner plate 5 in order to grip firmly the marginal edge of a terminal cladding sheet 3 when it is inserted between the two plates 5, 8. Each terminal unit 3, having no hook section limbs 7, is provided at its upper edge with a lip 4 to locate the unit in a vertical direction, the corner unit being provided, on the inside face of the plate 5, with hook section elements 7 to hook over the channel section bearers of the skeleton framework. The cladding sheets, not shown, are provided along their side edges with channels, the terminal units 3 having a channel 2b along one side only. The corner units may be erected one upon the other to form structures of greater height each uppermost unit being provided adjacent the lower edge on the inside of its plate 5 with a projecting plate adapted to overlap the upper edge of the unit below it, the joints between the plates 5, the plates 8, and the cladding sheets, being offset longitudinally to prevent ingress of water &c.
