Abstract

709,759. Crop sprayers. FOUR OAKS SPRAYING MACHINE CO., Ltd. March 11, 1953 [Dec. 15, 1951], No. 29409/51. Class 69 (3) A wheeled chassis 1 supports an internal combustion engine 4 which drives and is in tandem with a liquid pump 3, and tanks 5 and 6, also in tandem and containing spray liquid and fuel respectively, arranged over the engine and pump. The latter supplies a distributer 18 with valved connectors 19 for individual spray lances, and also a bye-pass 21 feeding an agitator in the tank 5. The pump inlet 16 includes a pipe 23 which may be connected to a water supply either for replenishing the tank 5 or for directly supplying the distributer. The sprayer includes a foot 13 for maintaining it horizontal when stationary, and a handle 12.
