707,239. Automatic weight control systems. AMERICAN MACHINE & FOUNDRY CO. Feb. 21, 1951 [March 9, 1950], No. 4200/51. Drawings to Specification. Class 38 (4) The apparatus is the same as that described with reference to Figs. 1, 2, 2a and 19 of Specification 707,238, the claims being directed to apparatus for regulating the rate of feed of a machine producing material in a continuous form, the speed of the feed being controlled by a variable speed drive, when deviations from a datum of the characteristic of the material produced are converted into electrical signals which are averaged over a period of time and then applied to a control circuit for adjusting the variable speed drive. Specifications 299,162, [Class 130], 558,491, [Group XXXVI], and U.S.A. Specification 2,253,921 also are referred to.
