Class 20 (3) The pane 13 of a vehicle window is secured by a rubber strip 14 held in a channelsection member 10 surrounding the window opening, the strip having a groove 16 to receive the edge of the pane and a groove 17 to receive a wedging strip 19 which, when in position, presses the adjacent side of the groove 16 firmly against the glass. The strip 19 which is made of a material coloured to match the vehicle finish, for example, rubber or polyvinyl chloride, has flanges 22 which overlie and conceal the strip 14 and thus provide a continuous matching surface between the member 10 and the glass.
