Abstract

703,933. Two-part couplings. PARSONS, Ltd., C. H., and HANDLEY, G. B. April 7, 1952 [May 15, 1951], No. 11234/51. Class 38 (1) An earthing socket contact comprises a cylindrical member slotted at 11 to form two limbs 13, 14 having flattened extensions 15, 16, respectively, the latter being bent to provide an attachment lug for a bracket 17 which carries a terminal 26 on a part 21 and a contactsecuring bracket 29. To provide for limited movement of the limb 13, the part 21 projects through a slot 24 in the extension 15 by means of a neck 22 and head 23. The contact is mounted on the base of a socket coupling combined with a switch, by means of the bracket 29, Figs. 4 and 5 (not shown).
