Class 116 [Also in Groups XXV and XXVIII] Means for securing a certain container to a dispenser unit with charge apportioning means comprises a tumbler pivoted on the dispenser so that one arm 7 lies in the path of lugs 8 on the neck of the container. The tumbler is under torsion from a spring 6 on the pivot. The tumbler in contact with the lugs 8 is rotated agairst the action of the spring as the container is rotated to engage lugs 9 on the container with lugs 10 on the dispenser. The rumbler is retained in engaging position by a spring-urged member 13 which engages an arm 12 on the tumbler. An extension 15 of the member 13 extends through a slot in the dispenser and is normally @ accessible until the dispenser is removed from a supporting bracket 5 when be member 13 can be removed from the path of the tumbler and the container removed from the dispenser unit. In another form instead of a tumbler a toothed sliding rack 's used to engage the container lugs. In another form a bladed spring with a pawl projecting into the path of the container lugs is used and co-operates with a wall bracket so that the container cannot be removed until released from the wall bracket. The securing means allow only containers to be mounted having the required neck shape. Specifications 664,105 and 676,096 are referred to.
