Class 110 (3) An elastic fluid turbine having moving blades for converting pressure energy into velocity energy and stationary blades for altering the direction of the fluid flow without substantially changing the pressure are twisted to afford " constant circulation " conditions i.e. the axial velocity component is constant along the radius and the tangential velocity component varies inversely as the radius.
