702,028. Roller mills; delivery devices. MIAG MUHLENBAU UND INDUSTRIE GES. April 16, 1952 [April 20, 1951], No. 9511/52. Class 59 A grinding mill has an outlet 11 for ground material 8 connected direct to a pneumatic delivery pipe 2 such that the flow of ground material undergoes one deflection only in passing to the delivery pipe. In the duplex roller-mill illustrated, the pipe 2 for each side of the mill may be divided into separate constricted inlets and connected to a tray extending beneath the outlet 11 of the discharge hopper. The ground material is sucked into the pipes 2, which may be housed within the feed pipe 1, by a current of air drawn from within the housing of the mill and also serving to cool the rolls 4, 5. Parts of the pipes 2 may be formed from transparent material to enable the flow of ground material to be observed.
