Abstract

700,267. Dress fastenings. WALKER, Ltd., T., and SPERATI (THE SPECIAL AGENCY), Ltd, C. A. Sept. 12, 1952 (Dec. 20, 1951], No. 29927/51. Class 43 A hook device for a trouser waistband fastener comprises an attachment plate formec with a rolled or turned-over edge and the operative part of the hook pressed from the plate so that it is directed away from the said edge which extends the full width of the plate. As shown, the plate 1 has a turnedover edge 4 and a U-shaped hook part 2 having a rounded end pressed out of the middle of the plate so that the hook portion is set outwards parallel to the plate. In use the rounded edge 4 engages the closed end of the waistband pocket so that it distributes the strain on the band along its whole length.
