[Class 141] In trousers of the kind having an extensible waistband which is divided in the region of the hips, each section having an extension riding in a tunnel in the other section where it is connected to the free end of an elastic band, the side seams being open to permit expansion of the waistband. The back section 1 of the trousers is fitted with a strip 3 which is sewn to a facing strip 6 on the inner part of the side pocket, the sewing terminating at a point 7 just below the waistband.
