700,247. Electromagnetic interrupters.. SVENSKA ACKUMULATOR AKTIEBOLAGET JUNGNER. Jan. 18, 1951 [Jan. 25, 1950], No. 1426/51. Class 38(5) A device for producing current impulses at time intervals of predetermined length comprises a selfinterrupting magnet 2 the armature 8 of which is connected to a diaphragm 36, or bellows or piston, forming part of a variable chamber having one or more ducts 13, 14 to control the speed of movement of the armature, and the movement of the armature causing the snap opening of contacts 31, 32. The duct 13 may be provided with a non-return valve, Figs. 2-4 (not shown). The snap action may be due to the co-operation of a permanent magnet 28 with the contact spring 33.
