Abstract
601,361. Snap-action switches. BROOKHIRST SWITCHGEAR, Ltd., and DAVIES, J. S. Nov. 24, 1945, No. 31726. [Class 38 (v)] The moving contact member 11 of a switch is pivoted at 14 and actuated with a deadcentre snap-action by a spring 16 which is anchored at 18 and is operated by a sliding member 27 of a cut-out device 29 similar to that described in Specification 473,778. The spring 16 is secured at the lower end to a rocking member 22 and at the upper end to a hook formed at the crutch of the two-legged contact member 11. A lead 28 to the moving contact 26 passes through the spring 16.
