698,206. Liquid distributing nozz!es; valves. THOMPSON BROS. (BILSTON), Ltd., and HAND, K. March 21, 1952 [March 21, 1951], No. 6714/51. Classes 69(iii) and 135 A hand controlled discharge nozzle includes a cylinder 10, with circumferentially spaced ports 14, supplied with liquid through a banjo fitting 11 comprising an annular chamber 13 which surrounds the cylinder. The discharge is controlled by a piston valve 15, which is held closed by springs 18 between the valve and a plate 16, and is opened by a trigger 23 pivoted at 26 and engaging a pin 21 in a stem 20 of the piston. In the closed position the valve covers the ports, and seats on an annular flange 32. A filter 30 is provided.
