697,256. Printing-machines. MASCHINENFABRIK AUGSBURG-NURNBERG AKT.-GES. May 3, 1951 [May 19, 1950], No. 10431/51. Classes 100(i) and 100(ii) [Also in Group XXIV] Inking and delivery apparatus.-Mechanism providing a variable movement of the inking roller 22 of a printing machine or of the delivery stacking table comprises a link 1 which is reciprocated at a constant amplitude from a constant speed crank and is connected by means of a bell crank lever 4, 5, oscillating about a fixed pivot 3, to a rod 9 which actuates the roller 22 through a ratchet mechanism 12 or operates the delivery table. The link 1 is coupled to the lever arm 4 whilst the rod 9 is adjustably connected to the lever arm 5 by means of a slide block 7 in a guide 6 of the arm. This adjustment is effected from a handle 18 which actuates a lever 16 coupled by a link 15 to a rigid projection 13 from the rod 9.
