Class 26 A disinfectant dispenser for water - closet cisterns comprises a container A, a syphon tube A<SP>1</SP> and a vent pipe b of inverted - U shape with the larger leg extending into the container, so that as the disinfectant becomes diluted by delivery of disinfectant and refilling with water at each operation of the cistern, the vent pipe may be raised in the stopper B to increase the volume cf liquid dispensed.
