Abstract

692,960. Electric lamp fittings. SYLVANIA ELECTRIC PRODUCTS, Inc. Feb. 23, 1951 [Feb. 28, 1950], No. 4516/51. Class 75(iv) A fixture for electric lamps comprises an elongated inverted channel section chassis 1 having notches 10 in its side walls near to its ends for interlocking with a pair of lugs 9 on the inner face of each of each of two end plates 2, each said plate having a flange 8 which engages with and is secured, as by screws 11, to the top wall of the chassis 1. Each lug 9 may comprise a cut and bent out portion of a plate 2, and. the notches 10 may be inclined as shown. The chassis may be incorporated in a tubular lamp fitting as described in Specification 692,959, and having a reflector mounting as described in Specification 692,961.
