692,947. Casks. RHEEM AUSTRALIA PTY., Ltd. Oct. 11, 1950 [Oct. 28, 1949], No. 24866/50. Class 21. A metal cask comprises an inner container 3 surrounded by a jacket, the jacket consisting of sections 18 to 20 joined circumferentially by spunover flanges 22, 29 and the sections including rolling rings 30. The ends of the sections 19, 20 are strengthened by rings 32. A bung-hole 13 is formed by a sleeve 14 welded to the container 3 and expanded and rolled over an anvil ring 23 secured to the jacket. A plate 25 is welded to the ring 23 and the jacket. A further bung-hole opening 9 may be provided. Holes 36 drain the wells formed at the cask ends.
