Class 135 In a diaphragm gas-pressure reducing valve the diaphragm 11 is connected to the valve 9 by a lever 22 pivoted on the valve at the junction 29 of its arms, its shorter arm comprising a flat circular head 23 engaging in a slot 24 in a fixed guide 25a. The guide 25a may be screwed to the casing or adjustably clamped on a valve guiding tube 6 while the long arm is contained between a pin 21 and the base of a fork 20 secured to the diaphragm. In this way the short arm can be made so small that the long arm, diaphragm, and reducing valve may have smaller dimensions than normal reducing valves.
