A driving arrangement for a ring of brushing rollers 2 of a teaseling machine which are rotatably mounted in discs 4 on a driving shaft 5 comprises friction cones 1 on the ends of the rollers which engage with stationary friction rings. In order to ensure equal frictional pressure on all the rollers the friction rings are divided into a number of individual segments 7, 8, 9, 10, with tension springs 11, 12, 13, 14 connecting alternate segments. Alternatively adjacent segments may be connected by springs or a single spring may encircle all the segments:
