Class 64 (ii) [Also in Groups XXVIII, XXIX and XXXIV] A moisture ejector valve for air pressure systems comprises a body with a cylinder at one end having a pressure supply and exhaust connection, an atmospheric moisture discharge port at the other end and a pair of spaced cylindrical seats between the cylinder and discharge ports, a pair of spaced connected pistons, a spring normally holding one piston on the seat farthest from the discharge port to form a closed space between the pistons and the other at the pressure and exhaust connection end of the cylinder, a pressure system connection to the closed space and valve means formed by one piston, actuated by the other piston, for allowing air pressure to eject moisture through the discharge port during the time the related piston is moving on to or away from the seat nearest the discharge port. The valve comprises a body having an end connection 5 through which pressure fluid is supplied or exhausted when a control valve of the system is actuated so that a piston 13 connected to a piston 15 moves against a spring 19, the piston 15 moving from a seat 16 to a seat in a cylinder 10 having a moisture discharge port 9 at the other end. During movement of the piston 15 air pressure from a storage tank sump passes from the lateral port 2 through the seat 16, round the piston 15 and a piston guide 17 sliding in the cylinder 10 to the discharge port and entrains moisture which collects in the pocket P. The piston 15 carries a wedge shaped stop 18. In a modification, a spring loaded ball check valve is placed in the port 2, and the piston extension comprises a closure for the discharge port. In a further modification the pistons are loaded by a spring adjacent the pressure and exhaust port and the piston 15 and guide 17 are reversed so that the piston seats in a short cylinder adjacent the discharge port.
