An arrangement for feeding the feed hopper of the travelling grate of a boiler with two different fuels either by means of a swinging shoot having separate outlets for the two types of fuel, or bv means of a fixed delivery shoot delivering to a distributer frame adapted to reciprocate over the grate hopper and comprising separate outlets for the two types of fuel, the said outlets being provided with shutoff members controlled in accordance with the position of the swinging chute or distributer frame along its working path. The shut-off members may be in the form of a slide, flap, or rotatable disc.
