Class 75(ii) A clip for fastening a hollow transparent or semi-transparent ornament to an electric light bulb, e.g. as in the manufacture of a fairy light, comprises a centrally apertured metal plate 1 having tongues 2 arcund the aperture for receiving a ring 3 of insulating material formed with a notch 4 (not shown) through which a projection on the base of the bulb 6 is passed and then moved out of alignment therewith to lock the bulb to the clip, the plate 1 being pro-. vided with resilient means such as spring fingers 5 to grip the ornament 7. Alternatively the internal periphery of the ring 3 is serrated to enable it to grip the bulb cap.
