688,734. Sawing stone. TENA Y TENA, C. DE. March 2, 1951 [May 12, 1950No. 5104/51. Class 124. A cutting chain for a stone cutter is characterised in that the cutting teeth are made integral with the central links of the chain and the said links carry, on the side opposite the teeth, studs for driving and guiding the chain. In a chain for cutting soft stone, Fig. 1, the teeth are formed by metallic carbide bits 6 brazed to projections 1" on the central links 1 of the chain and are staggered alternately left and right of the centre line with an intermediate straight tooth located on the centreline. For cutting hard stone, Fig. 6, each central link has three bits 8 which are raked backwards and may be set left, upright and right respectively or placed in any other order. The central link may have two teeth.
