187,556. Mattson, J. G. Nov. 1, 1921, [Convention date]. Saws.-A saw blade is arranged with pairs of cross-cut teeth B alternating with single rip teeth C. Adjacent teeth B are oppositely set, as are successive rip teeth C, so that the teeth are alternately set to opposite sides throughout the length of the blade. For a circular saw, as shown, the teeth B lean slightly backward; for a hand saw they are straight.
