648,449. Saws. MATTSON, J. G. Sept. 19, 1949, No. 24066. Convention date, Sept. 22, 1948. [Class 145(ii)] In a saw provided with both rip and crosscut teeth the arrangement is such as to provide a series of blocks B, separated by slots C, with each block having a rip tooth D a crosscut tooth E with the rip tooth leading and with the teeth on each block bevelled and set on opposite faces of the saw blade and with the rip tooth D of one block being bevelled and set on the same face as is that of the cross-cut tooth E of the block immediately preceding it. The blocks and teeth thereon may be arranged to incline forwardly.
