Saws.-The teeth of circular or other saws are arranged in groups of four, each group comprising a pair of oppositely-bevelled cutting teeth 1, 2, a planing tooth 3 and a smaller bevelled tooth 4, with gullets 9, 10 as shown. Alternate groups have the bevelled teeth oppositely arranged. The bevel on the rearward edges of the bevelled teeth may be omitted. The teeth are unset and slightly wider at their tips than at their bases.
