680,918. Television. COLE, Ltd., E. K., and WHITE, J. K. Dec. 8, 1950 [Dec. 10, 1949], No. 31744/49. Class 40 (iii). In a projection-type television receiver, one side wall 2 of the cabinet is movable in drawerlike fashion and has a projection screen 5 hinged to it at the top so that it can be moved into viewing position as shown and hangs behind the wall 2 when the latter is pushed in. To prevent obstruction of the optical path, the top of the cabinet may have a hinged flap 7 or the projection system 6 may be automatically moved forward when the wall 2 is pulled out. The cabinet and the side supports 3 for wall 2 may be mounted on castors.
