Class 20(3) [Also in Group XL(b)] The viewing aperture of a television receiver cabinet is formed with grooves 2a, 2b adapted to receive a plastic or glass implosion guard 4, the arrangement being such that the guard may be inserted in and pivoted about groove 2a until its other edge is in line with groove 2b so as to occupy the position indicated by chain-dotted lines, thereafter it may be moved upwardly to engage an incline portion 2d in groove 2a whereby it is displaced sideways to the right so that it is located partly in both grooves in the position indicated by dotted lines. A fixing strip 5 is then -secured to the cabinet to retain the guard in position a the aperture. Alternative constructions the aperture. Alternative construction may be such that the fixing strip is located at the top or side of the cabinet. An inclined portion 2d may also be provided in groove 2b.
