Abstract

1,020,041. Cabinets &c. ELECTROLUX Ltd. Dec. 28, 1962 [Jan. 17, 1962], No. 48773/62. Heading A4B. [Also in Division F4] A bottle holder, Fig. 1 (not shown), for a refrigerator door shelf 15, comprises a strip 17 secured to the shelf or to the door and having resilient fingers 20 which extend into the bottle space and press bottles therein against the inner side of the door, or against the edge of the front side of the shelf. The strip 17 is of polythene and is secured in position by a channel section metal rail secured to the inner wall of the door. The strip is provided on its upper edge with a row of further fingers (Fig. 3, not shown) alternately angularly disposed to each other so that they can be pushed into alignment and assembled to the metal rail after the holder has been removed for cleaning. In another construction the strip is of inverted V or U-section one of the limbs therof being riveted to the door. Alternatively the strip is provided with a T-section longitudinal groove adapted to mate with the upper edge of the shelf. The fingers may be shaped to contact the bottles in two places.
