Abstract
516,631. Television receivers. KOLSTERBRANDES, Ltd., and LOCK, C. E. July 1, 1938, No. 19575. [Classes 40 (iii) and 40 (v)] [Also in Group XXXVI] Indicating means 33 for the controls are seen in the same aperture 21 in a cabinet 20 as the received picture. The indicator and the screen are alternatively opposite, or projected on, the aperture. The indications are on a plate 24 which is moved opposite the aperture in front of the screen when the control 28 is manipulated. According to modifications : the wireless receiver and the viewing screen are on opposite sides of a shelf which is so hinged as to bring either the receiver or the screen opposite the aperture, Fig. 2 (not shown) ; the indications are optically projected on the viewing screen when the controls are manipulated, Fig. 3 (not shown).
