Abstract

678,334. Electric condensers. ERIE RESISTOR CORPORATION. Aug. 15, 1950, No. 20217/50. Class 37. A stack condenser consists of mica discs 1 (Fig. 1), interlaced with spring metal washers 2, 3 having serrated edges alternately at the outer periphery (Fig. 6) on washers 2, or at the centre (Fig. 4) on washers 3 to make contact with an annular cup terminal 9 or'centre rivet terminal 5 respectively. The condenser is thus clamped together at the centre and periphery, outside the active area of the washers. The serrated edges 14, 20 may be bent by preforming, or on assembly. The mica discs may be metallized on opposite faces,
