575,567. Condensers. SPORING, P.A., and TELEGRAPH CONDENSER CO., Ltd. March 27, 1944, No. 5641. [Class 37] The plates 5 forming one pole of a stacked condenser are secured to a conductive supporting stem 4 by displacing the central areas, to be secured at the end by a stiffer plate 9. An outer casing 1 forms the other pole, alternate plates 6 having clearance apertures around the stem but being connected to the casing by circumferential contact and by lugs 10 engaging between a lid 11 and a turned-over edge of the casing. Pressure may be applied by making the flanged end 2 of the casing initially dished inward.
