Class 66 A telescopic filler-spout for a fuel tank &c. has curved or straight sections 1, 2, 3, extended, e.g. after unscrewing a cap 5, by pulling a bail handle 4 until shoulders on the lower ends of the inner sections meet collars or rings 12 &c., the sections remaining extended due to friction of leaf springs 10. Wire rings 13 may be sweated on the rims of sections 2 and 3.
