Abstract

526,985. Siphon bottles. MOTUSZ, G. March 30, 1939, No. 10005. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Oct. 2, 1939.] [Class 14 (i)] In order to prevent misuse of a siphon bottle by placing the spout in the mouth for drinking purposes, the spout 4 is surrounded by a jacket 6 which is spaced from it and extends beyond its end. The jacket has a flared outer end, and is provided with perforations 9, 10. In a modification, the spout is bent to form a small angle with the longitudinal axis of the bottle, and the jacket has slots to facilitate the positioning of a tumbler beneath the spout. The jacket may be integral with the head or separate therefrom.
