Abstract
231,324. Humphries, W. E. March 28, 1924. Pots. - A strainer for use with a teapot or like vessel formed with an opening at the inlet end of the spout comprises a sleeve part d, Fig. 3, preferably slightly coned, adapted to enter the spout opening, and slitted longitudinally at m and also in some cases laterally at n, to render it readily adjustable; the sleeve ends on a flange e adapted to bear against the wall of the vessel, the strainer h, which may be of gauze, fabric, &c., being mounted outside this portion. Fig. 4 shows a strainer h detachably held in place by a wire ring q.
