Abstract

199,946. Creyke, G. W. July 1, 1922. Spouts.-A detachable spout is secured in place in an opening in an inclined facet b, Fig. 1, of a tea- or coffee-pot by being formed with a threaded stem upon which a locking ring f can be secured after the spout has been passed into place from the inside of the vessel. A jointing washer is placed over the spout for the collar e, Fig. 2, to bed upon, and a strainer g may be formed integral with or attached to the inner end. The spout may be formed of Britannia metal, 'which is stated to be effective in preventing drip.
