198,216. Solomon, E. June 1, 1922. Pots.-A tea-pot, coffee-pot, hot-water jug, &c. is provided with a hot-water vessel a fitting into the neck of the pot on which is placed a saucershaped lid e provided with a cover h and serving as a receptacle in which toast &c. can be kept hot.. The lid e is formed with a shoulder g or other projection to engage with the mouth of the vessel a. The vessel a may be provided with a valve n which can be raised by a chain o to allow the hot water to escape into the pot. The lid e may be provided with a separate liner which can be removed, along with the contents of the lid, when it is desired to pour tea &c. from the pot. The vessel a may be provided with an electric heater.
