Abstract

173,979. Skee, G. Jan. 24, 1921. Pots.-The spout a of a teapot opens into the body of the pot by two channels b, c separated by a transverse tubular or other portion d. The ordinary strainer is dispensed with and an infusing-device g of wire gauze or the like is attached to the lid, which is formed with inturned lugs n to which a rim h on the strainer can be attached after the fashion of a bayonet-joint. The lid is formed with a separate hinged portion to.facilitate placing tea in the infusing-device when the latter is in position. Other forms of infuser may be employed.
