Abstract

285,175. Brookes & Adams, Ltd., and Brookes, H. L. Nov. 20, 1926. Pots &c.-A teapot, coffee-pot, &c. formed by moulding from synthetic resin comprises a body portion 1 with an integrally formed non-tubular channel-like spout 2, the body and spout being free from internal projections, a separately formed cover member 4 for the body 1, an infuser chamber 7 projecting downwardly from the cover member 4, and a detachable lid 9 closing the entrance to the infuser chamber 7. In the construction described, the chamber 7 is integral with cover 4 and has radial or other slots 8, or perforations, through which the water can enter. A handle 3 is formed integrally with the body 1. The Provisional Specification refers to the use of china, metal and other materials for the teapots &c.
