Abstract

209,893. Bolton, E. M. Nov. 22, 1922. Pots.-A tea-pot is provided with an infuser so constructed that by rotating the lid the infuser can be cut off from the body of the pot when the tea is sufficiently drawn. The infuser consists of two cylinders D, E fitting one within the other and having similarly-disposed perforations. One cylinder D is attached to the lid, and the other E is provided with a stud g which engages a socket in the bottom of the pot and prevents the cylinder E from rotating. The openings in the cylinder D can be made to coincide with the perforations or with the solid portions of the cylinder E, as required, by rotating the lid and the cylinder D therewith. A stop limits the motion of the lid.
