676,142. Endless - belt conveyers. MASTABAR BELT FASTENER CO., Ltd. Feb. 15, 1951. [Feb. 28, 1950] No. 5112/50. Class 78 (i). A plough for removing material from an endless belt conveyer comprises a beam having a plurality of scraper units detachably secured thereto, each unit comprising a blade of natural or artificial rubber or the like backed by a rigid reinforcing plate, to which the blade is fixed. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, the scraper units each comprise a rubber blade 3 backed by a plate 2 and are secured to a steel blade 5 by bolts 8 engaging nuts 6 secured to the plate 2. In a modification, Fig. 4, the blade 3 is reinforced by the part 13 of the plate 2 embedded therein and by a front plate 14.
