Abstract

1,186,677. Bucket conveyers. FREDERICK PARKER Ltd. 1 Nov., 1967 [6 Oct., 19661, No. 44598/66. Heading B8A. The buckets 2 of a bucket conveyer are adjustably mounted on a pair of endless chains 1 for alignment transverse thereof. Each bucket 2 has a pair of upstanding lugs 8, each slidable between the limbs 9a of a U-shaped link 9 in the respective chains 1. Spacers or washers 12 are placed between the lug 8 and one or the other or both of the limbs 9a to adjust the bucket with respect to the chains. A bolt 10 passes through the limbs 9a, the lug 8 and the spacers 12 and is engaged by a nut 11. The buckets have a lip 7 to scoop up material into the bucket and are discharged through an opening 5 in the top of said bucket.
