985,361. Endless conveyers. A. JOCHUMS, and E. WITTKOP, [trading as HAUHINCO MASCHINFABRIK G. HAUSHERR, JOCHUMS & CO.]. July 11, 1963 [July 14, 1962; July 26, 1962; Oct. 25, 1962], No. 27493/63. Heading B8A. Each plate 2 of an apron-type endless conveyer is secured by a pin and eye connection 22, 21, to one end of an attachment 4 forged or welded to a corresponding vertical chainlink 3. The other end of the attachment 4 has a lug 14 which engages a slot 11 in the plate 2. The lug covers the slot 11 to prevent material escaping. The leading end of the attachment 14 engages, with clearance, a slot in the rear edge of the adjacent plate 2. The lug 14 may be replaced by a hook-like member (Fig. 1, not shown). The pin and eye attachment 22, 21 may be replaced by a pin which passes through apertures in the plate 2 and attachment 4 (Figs. 1 and 3, not shown).
