Abstract

675,519. Scrapers. ATKINSON, E., and ATKINSON, A. Oct. 5, 1950 [Oct. 5, 1949], No. 25622/49. Classes 61 (i) and 61 (ii). In a shave hook the apertured blade 9 is detachably fixed on the reduced end of the stem 2 in abutment with the shoulder 8 by the head of a set screw 13 which is screwed into the internally threaded hollow end of the stem. The reduced end of the stem which is provided with diametrically opposed flats 7 fits the aperture in the blade. The other end of the stem 2 fits in a longitudinal hole in the handle 3 and is secured by a pin 6 passing transversely through the ferrule 5 handle and stem. Blades of various shapes are provided.
